VASTAVIRTA-KLUBI
Arriving
Front door opens to outside and is quite heavy. Door frame width is 90 cm and it has a 3,5 cm threshold. After the front door there is another door frame, width 80 cm. You can drive a car in front of the front door, about 5 meters from it.
Bar counter
There is a ramp leading to the bar. Ramp is 143 cm long and 150 cm wide. The front of the bar counter is spaceous.
Stage
Going up to the stage there are three steps, two of them are 20 cm high and one 28 cm high. There is a dance floor in front of the stage with no seats etc.
Seats
There are lots of different seats in the space. Most of them are bar stools, both tall and low. Next to the back wall there is a long bench with back rest, but there is one 17 cm high step before it.
Toilets
Leading to the WC there are two steps, 17 cm and 20 cm high. The WC on the left has two 67 x 100 cm toilet closests. The closests have “saloon doors”. Sink is located opposite to the toilet closets. The WC on the right has one urinal at 85 cm with a 15 cm high step in front of them. There is also one 130 x 182 cm toilet closet, door width 70 cm. Regardless of the apparent gendering of the toilets everyone can use the toilet of their choice!
If needed, you can use the backstage WC, for example if you can’t access the other toilets due to their size or steps. Please turn to the staff. The backstage door is 80 cm wide and it has 6cm threshold. The WC is about 2 meters from the door. The WC door is 61 cm wide and it has 2 cm threshold. WC room’s width is 190 cm and depth 128 cm. The WC seat has hand rests.
The backstage is quite small and on gig nights there is bands’ stuff there, so the space can be quite cramped.
TERASSI-PUB YLÄKERTA
Arriving
There is quite a steep hill when you arrive to the pub. There are also stairs with a rail which you can use (about 15 wide steps). Before the bar there is a terrace. It is possible to drive a car next to the terrace. There is a threshold of 5 cm when you arrive to the terrace.
When you go inside there is a 2,5 cm high threshold. The front door is 88 cm wide. After the front door there is another door opening, which is 80 cm wide.
Seating
There are a lot of chairs and benches upstairs: many enclosed tables with benches with a back support, and in addition there are some high bar stools.
Toilets
There are two toilets in the Terassi-Pub Yläkerta on a 115 cm wide corridor.
In the toilet on the left there is an urinal and a toilet stall. The door of the toilet is 70 cm wide and the threshold is 4 cm high.
If you’d like to have more privacy and/or space, there is only one water closet in the toilet on the right. The room is 145 cm x 167 cm. The doors are 70 cm wide and the threshold is 4 cm high.
PISPALA LIBRARY
Arriving
There is a stone step in front of the door, size 120 x 70 x 19 cm (width, depth, hight). The width of the door opening is 86 cm.
Toilets
There are two toilets in the library. There are three steps in front of the customer toilet, the size of them is 76 x 27 x 17 cm (width, depth, height). The toilet door opening is narrower than usual, its width is 58 cm.
The staff toilet can be used if the stairs are an obstacle to using another toilet. There are no thresholds or steps to the bathroom, but the entrance is behind three narrow doorways, the width of the doorways is 58 cm. After the first doorway, the next opening is 90 degrees to the left, and the turn happens in a rather small kitchen.
HIRVITALO
Hirvitalo is unfortunately not an accessible space inside the house. The yard is easier to move around, but inside the house can be quite difficult for people with limited mobility. Hirvitalo is an old wooden house with an own yard, and there is programme both inside the house and at the yard. There is an accassible toilet in the yard.
Due to roadwork the bus number 10 is not driving to Hirvitalo, but it stops at the sports field of Tahmela.
Entrances to the yard
From Hirvikatu:
A 10 meter long, 250 cm wide asphalt covered road, which slopes downwards, leads to the yard. At the end of this road there are a few cobblestones, as well as in front of the yard stage.
Inside the house
Hirvitalo is not accessible. Outside there are 9 steps, hight 18 cm, depth 27cm and width 117 cm. The stairs have a railing. At the upper end of the stairs there is a 117 cm wide and 105 cm platform. The frontdoor opens to the outside. The door width is 88 cm, threshold 4 cm.
The front door leads to a porch, there are 6 steps which are 11-14 cm high, depth 30 cm and width 100 cm. On the upper end of these stairs is a door that opens to the outside. Door frame width is 135 cm, threshold 3 cm. Inside the house there are 3 cm threshold between different rooms. There are lots of seats with a backrest in the house.
Yard
On the yard there are lots of seats, benches and chairs that have backrests. There is a stage and in front of there are several gobble stones. The yard’s ground is lawn, grass and gravel.
Toilets
Inside the house there is one small toilet. Door frame is 58 cm wide and threshold 5 cm high. Space between the toilet seat and door is 50 cm, width 68 cm. The toilet is gender neutral.
SUUTARI KNALLIN SALUUNA & KOUKKARI
ARRIVAL

The saloon is designated as a quiet space, for use only on Saturday between 15 and 21. Caffeine is the only drug you are permitted to use in the saloon. There will be a volunteer monitoring the space for disturbances. The space is around 40 square metres. There are both indoor and outdoor hangout spaces, a toilet, and a small kitchen area. The path there is gravelled, and access is via a fairly steep hill.
The outside door is 90cm wide, with a 10cm step on the outside, but also the possibility to use a ramp. The step inside the door is 7cm high.
Toilets: There are two doors on the way into the toilet, as well as some steps. You must use the door on the left side. The toilet is a composting toilet with no running water, so use hand sanitiser. The first door is 56cm wide with a 30cm step. The other door is 66cm wide with a 7cm step.
Kitchen area and hangout space: The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, coffee, a kettle, an oven, and a microwave. There is also a small amount of cutlery.
The hangout space has a set of sofas and a “hideout” space. The lighting is adjustable according to guests’ sensory needs.
PETHAUS
ARRIVAL

Pethaus is located around 180 metres downhill from Vastavirta, on the opposite side of Sale Pispala. The width of the outer door is 80cm. There is a 5cm step outside the doorway, and two steps of 11 and 7cm each, plus a small slippery area, inside the door.
KITCHEN AREA
There is a small step on the way into the kitchen.
TOILET AREA
There are two toilet stalls, with a sink for hand washing outside the stalls to the side. There are three 2-3cm steps into the toilet/hand washing area. There are two steps of 19 and 17cm each into the toilet stalls themselves. The doors of the toilets are 60cm wide.
